It allows audiences to see and hear the actions and views of others and to decide for themselves what they believe.
In part through choice, partially through technology but mainly through economics, documentary has circled back to its origins of a person with a camera and a story to tell.
This offers film-makers like us the opportunity to work with a light footprint and to give a fly-on-the-wall view of the most sensitive and complicated narratives without impacting on the story we are seeking to tell.
